Extinct is the tenth full-length album by Portuguese gothic metal band Moonspell, released on March 6, 2015.
This album was recorded at Fascination Street Studios, produced and mixed by Jens Bogren. The cover was designed by Seth Siro Anton. It includes a guest performance by Bozuoukitara pioneer Yossi Sassi on the track "Medusalem." Additionally, on the song "Medusalem," before the guitar solo begins, singer and artist Mahafsoun narrates the chorus in Persian.
