widely recognized as one of the most remarkable, the fifth album by gothic metal masters has reached the highest point of creative balance, where they feel extremely confident, as heavy and solid sound, powerful vocal contrasts, and atmospheric keyboards merge into a cohesive, emotion-filled whole - at that time the gothic scene was truly experiencing a golden age, and Crematory stood out with their ability to combine dark romanticism with metal monumentalism, maintaining both melodic subtlety and intensity, while proving that melancholy can sound pure and aesthetically compelling, whereas highly memorable The Sisters of Mercy 'Temple of Love' cover demonstrates respect for the roots and ability to reinterpret a classic in their own instantly recognizable manner; authentic German three panel digipak edition comes with sixteen page booklet
